The End of Year sale at Smashwords is a great opportunity to find authors you might not have run into before. I did my shopping yesterday and one of the items that landed in my cart was a lesbian vampire erotic romance short called Once She Was Bitten by Magen Cubed.
The story is a short. It's a touch under 3,000 words. It's about a woman trying to get back with her vampire ex. In those few words, Cubed builds a world, character backstories, and heat. The feeling I had that getting back with her ex may not be a good idea made the story hotter. Likely due to Amazon limitations, the specific instances of vampirism are between the lines. That doesn't harm what Cubed is doing here but it may be a little frustrating for readers who want the vampire experience.
If a sapphic erotic romance between a vampire and a human is something you'd be up for, this is a tasty treat.
